Women's March This Saturday In Walnut Creek
Organizers are focusing their energy on the 2018 midterm elections.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Women’s March of Contra Costa will be held in Walnut Creek this Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, in Civic Park. It's the second year for the event.
This year organizers are focused on the 2018 midterm elections. They hope to inspire women to work to ensure women’s rights, human rights, and social and environmental justice.
People will begin gathering for the family friendly event at 10:30 a.m. The rally is scheduled for 11 a.m. followed by the march.

Participants are encouraged to walk, bike, carpool or take transit to the event.

- Civic Drive between Locust and Broadway
- Broadway between Civic and Mt. Diablo Boulevard
- Mt. Diablo from Broadway to Locust
- Locust from Mt. Diablo to Civic Drive
Expect delays and avoid the area if you are not a participant.
Alternate routes include California Boulevard and Newell Avenue.
