Youth sports: Diablo FC 94 Wraps up Prestige Cup, Readies for Surf Cup

The team went to the Placer United Prestige Cup in Cherry Island. The team went 3-1 and finished second in its group. The team started the tournament by beating Place United Gold 2-0 with goals from Matteo Palacios and Concard Rowling.
Then it beat Turlock F.C. Earthquakes 4-1 and Juventus SC 94 Black 3-0. However, the team lost the last game 3-1 to Atlas Merced Academy. The team was led throughout the weekend by Danny Glascock and Yojay Basulto. The team is getting ready for the San Deigo Surf Cup this coming weekend. It is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country and it draws International competition.

The team was only one of four California North teams invited. They start off by playing the Natioanl Champion from Canada on Saturday afternoon.
