1 Killed In Shooting Near King City Hartnell College Campus
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency aid was unsuccessful, according to the sheriff's office.
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — A person was shot and killed in King City early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened just after midnight at Second Street and Lynn Street, near the Hartnell College King City Education Center satellite campus, according to a statement from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office.
Officers from the King City Police Department and deputies from the Sheriff's Office responded to the report of gunshots, where they allegedly found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency aid was unsuccessful, according to the Sheriff's Office, which is leading the homicide investigation.
