2 Arrested In Watsonville Fentanyl Bust
Watsonville police arrested two suspects for allegedly selling more than three dozen Fentanyl pills.
WATSONVILLE, CA — Two people were arrested in connection to the sale of Fentanyl pills after a multi-agency probe, Watsonville police said Thursday.
Alberto Galvan, 26, and Joscelyn Torres-Leon, 24, were arrested on charges of possession of Fentanyl for sale following an investigation from WPD’s Special Investigations Unit and neighboring law enforcement agencies.
Police said they seized more than three dozen Fentanyl pills and a gun, which the suspect did not possess legally.

Police said that Galvan is on parole for assault with a deadly weapon, and has been previously arrested for selling drugs, though police did not say whether he was convicted.
Fentanyl is believed to be 50 to 100 times stronger than heroin and morphine.
