2 Arrests In Watsonville Commercial Burglary, Police Say
Surveillance footage showed a man squeezing through a window and stealing cash.
WATSONVILLE, CA — Two people have been arrested after police reviewed surveillance footage of a man crawling into the window of a business in the 300 block of Rodriguez Street early Tuesday morning right before cash went missing, according to the Watsonville Police Department.
Raul Diaz, 41, and Marlyn Uribe, 30, were arrested late Tuesday night on suspicion of charges related to commercial burglary, looting during a state of emergency and conspiring to commit a felony, police said.
The burglary occurred around midnight, according to police and surveillance camera footage. Detectives used surveillance footage to track down their car and get a suspect description.

Officers say they recovered most of the stolen money.
