2 Found Dead In Salinas House; Hunt On For Person Of Interest

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA β Two people were found dead in a Salinas home on Tuesday afternoon, and police are searching for a resident of the home who is considered a person of interest.
At about 4:30 p.m., police received a call from a concerned relative of the homeowners who said the home, located on Essex Circle, was in disarray.
When officers entered the home, they found the bodies of two homicide victims, one male and one female, who police believe to be related to the residence.

Police were unable to track down a 25-year-old resident of the home named Ellin Omar Escamilla, and do not know whether Escamilla was absent during the crime, was involved, was harmed or is under duress.
Police are considering Escamilla a person of interest, and said he may be driving a brown 2011 Lincoln MKX SUV with a California license plate, number 6SMS157.
