3 Watsonville Men Accused Of Downtown Graffiti Spree

Eight businesses were vandalized early Saturday morning, police said.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Three intoxicated Watsonville men were arrested early Saturday morning after police received reports of graffiti taking place.

A caller reported people performing graffiti in the area of W. Lake Avenue and Main Street just before 3 a.m., according to the Watsonville Police Department. Officers arrived and arrested three men sitting nearby in a parked car at CVS.

The three men were identified by surveillance footage and the witness, police said. Spray paint and cocaine were found in the car, police said.

The men were arrested on suspicion of substance charges, vandalism and public intoxication.
