4 Cars, A Building Vandalized In West Watsonville; Arrest Made

WATSONVILLE, CA — A man was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly vandalizing a building, and hurling sticks and rocks at cars driving along Beach Road, The Pajaronian reported. Martin Cruz Chavez, 33, was booked into Santa Cruz County's jail.

No injuries were reported, but one victim had a baby in his car, the paper reported. Second Harvest Food Bank's delivery truck window was smashed.

The Watsonville Police Department, Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office and California Highway Patrol responded to related injuries, the paper reported.
