Abandoned Home Catches Fire In Watsonville
There were no injuries and no other homes were damaged, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said.
WATSONVILLE, CA — Several families were evacuated late Monday night after a fire broke out in an abandoned home near Laken Drive and Holohan Road in unincorporated Watsonville toward Interlaken, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies evacuated families in surrounding homes, but firefighters contained the fire so it did not spread. There were no injuries, the sheriff's office said.
