Attempted Murder Case: Twins Accused Of Watsonville Stabbing

The brothers are accused of stabbing two men Aug. 30. Police say the attack was gang-related.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Twin brothers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a gang-related stabbing in Watsonville, police said.

Angel Sanchez, 27, was arrested four days after the Aug. 30 attack in Watsonville, Watsonville police said Thursday in a news release. His brother, Victor, was arrested in San Jose Thursday morning, with the help of San Jose police officers.

The stabbing was reported in the 100 block of Grant Ave., police said. The victims have been released from the hospital.

The Sanchez brothers remain in Santa Cruz County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
