Big-Rig Rollover Closes Stretch Of Buena Vista Drive

WATSONVILLE, CA – A portion of Buena Vista Drive, between Trabing and Larkin Valley roads, closed Friday due to a solo big-rig rollover collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.

No injuries were reported in the accident logged shortly after 12 p.m. in the Freedom-Watsonville area of Santa Cruz County, the agency said.

"Please be patient while we work with PG&E and Auto Care Towing to clear up the roadway," the CHP said, adding that the estimated time for the road to reopen was approximately two to three hours, or roughly 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
