Building Ablaze In Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, CA — Firefighters were on the scene of a building fire in Watsonville Wednesday afternoon.

The Watsonville Fire Department confirmed a report of a building on fire around 1:15 p.m., firefighters confirmed via smartphone app PulsePoint.

The fire was reported in the 30 block of W. Beach Street, near Watsonville Plaza.

Fire department officials could not immediately be reached for comment. Firefighters remained on scene as of 4 p.m.
