WATSONVILLE, CA – Two men were arrested last week after authorities discovered a purported "chop shop" in Watsonville during a probation search, officials said.
The Watsonville Police Department and the Santa Cruz County Auto Theft Reduction and Enforcement Task Force were conducting a probation operation Thursday when "tens of thousands of dollars of stolen items, including motorcycles, off-road vehicles and construction equipment" were found at a home on Nona Drive, police said.
Officers arrested 38-year-old Julio Dominguez and 30-year-old Kyle Roswell on charges related to allegedly running the chop shop, according to officers.
