We are excited to share that the City and our partner Watsonville Wetlands Watch received a grant to help plant trees throughout the City to grow the City’s urban forest. Watsonville Wetlands Watch is now offering free fruit trees and shade trees to Watsonville residents to plant in their front and/or backyards.

Trees are important to help us reach our climate action goals and improve the health of our community and our environment. Volunteers are needed to help with tree planting events, caring for trees throughout the city, and to become Tree Captains. We are excited to share that the City and our partner Watsonville Wetlands Watch received a grant to help plant trees throughout the City to grow the City’s urban forest. Watsonville Wetlands Watch is now offering free fruit trees and shade trees to Watsonville
Residents can learn how to adopt a tree or sign up to become a Tree Captain by visiting watsonvillecommunityforest.org or emailing arbol@watsonvillewetlandswatch.org. You may also call 728-1156 ext 3. Funding is limited, so sign up today!
