'College, Career Readiness' Event Scheduled For PVUSD Families
The free conference will be held Saturday at Cabrillo College.
PVUSD:The Pajaro Valley Unified School District's Educational Services Division, in collaboration with Cabrillo College, invites you to this college and career readiness conference designed to provide parents/guardians with valuable information that supports their children with their future goals. This opportunity is geared towards families of elementary and secondary school aged students. Dr. Michelle Rodriguez, Superintendent of Schools, encourages attendance noting, "This conference is a powerful way to engage our community in this important process and to provide tools that prepare our students to achieve their college or career goals."
Participants will select which strand of workshop sessions they will attend and go to each session in that strand. Workshop sessions will be offered in both English and Spanish. Middle and high school students are encouraged to attend with their parent/guardian!
Parking is available in the Cabrillo College parking lots, the United Presbyterian Church lot and Union St. (time limits for
parking spaces in front of the Watsonville Center will not be enforced during this time).

Breakfast will be provided from 8 – 9 AM only. Childcare for ages 3-11 will be offered and children will engage in age-
level appropriate activities.
