Coronavirus Tele-Town Hall Planned For Tuesday Night

Santa Cruz County Supervisor Zach Friend and Community Foundation Santa Cruz County CEO Susan True will discuss recovery and relief efforts.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Santa Cruz County Supervisor Zach Friend will host his weekly tele-town hall Tuesday evening with guest Susan True, CEO of Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.

Community Foundation Santa Cruz County plays a key role in recovery efforts. The county announced late last month that the foundation raised money to bring onboard Margaret Lapiz, who has specialized in health care operations and strategy for 25 years. Lapiz is spearheading the county's SAVE Lives effort to restart public life by first increasing testing capacity, quarantine services and isolation services, and contact tracing to help public health officials determine with whom COVID-19 patients may have interacted.
