WATSONVILLE, CA — A suspected drunken driver who crashed a Chevy Tahoe atop a parked car in Watsonville is fortunate to have only suffered a minor injury and that no one else was hurt in the wreck.Steven Vitela, 21, of Soquel was arrested by Watsonville police early Sunday morning at 611 Tuttle Ave. after he crashed and woke sleeping residents. Vitela only received a minor cut in the crash, which police said was likely due to his airbag deploying during the impact. According to jail records, Vitela was booked on suspicion of DUI with bail set at $2,500.
