Santa Cruz's Second Annual Hot Rods for Kids will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, in conjunction with the 51st Running of the Johnny Key Classic Races at Ocean Speedway.
Hot Rods for Kids is a car show open to all classes of cars that was started in 2010 by Pamela Whittington and her team at Classic Cleaners as a way to raise awareness and much-needed funds for organizations serving children and youth in our community.
Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Hot Rods for Kids and stay for the 51st Johnny Key Classic Race that begins at 6:00 p.m. Advance tickets for the race are available http://www.hotrods4kids.com.

This remarkable event will feature a wide assortment of cars that will impress and attract any automotive lover, including an amazing collection of nostalgic race cars. While strolling amongst the magnificent array of cars, enjoy food, live music, raffle prizes a kids’ zone and more!
Proceeds from “Hot Rods for Kids” will benefit the Youth Development Services and Family Literacy Programs of the Walnut Avenue Women's Center, a strength-based family resource center providing support and services so women, children and families have the opportunities and skills to thrive.
