The Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz holds a series of Mushroom Identification Classes on certain Wednesdays throughout the year. Led by a knowledgeable instructor, these classes present a unique opportunity to learn how to identify both edible and non-edible species. The standard text for the class is Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora. Classes take place at the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History on East Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz.
