There will be a public safety workshop at Starlight Elementary School from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12.
The workshop, facilitated by the United Way, aims to provide accurate information about AB109/Prison Realignment, to encourage community participation and engagement in creating healthy and safe neighborhoods, and to gather community input on local and county-wide reforms.
Event speakers include Watsonville Police Chief Manny Solano, Starlight Principal Mark Donnelly, (from county Supervisor Greg Caput's office) and . There also will be small group discussions and a raffle.
