Firefighters Extinguish Fire At Watsonville Home
Firefighters responded to a residential Watsonville neighborhood Tuesday afternoon after receiving word of a fire.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a kitchen fire in a residential Watsonville neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
The Watsonville Fire Department confirmed a report of a building on fire at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The fire was reported in the 120 block of Holly Drive.
The fire was minor, officials said. It began as a stove fire, but spread to the insulation around the stove pipe.

By 2:35 p.m., firefighters had already extinguished the flames and were working to clear smoke from the house.
