'Freedom Weekend' Sept. 15-17 in Corralitos takes aim at human trafficking

Movie screening, concert, speakers on tap Sept. 15-17 in Corralitos to raise awareness about modern slavery and fuel the fight to end it.

(Corralitos, CA) “Freedom Weekend,” a look at the global problem of human trafficking and the fight to end it, is set for Sept. 15-17 at Corralitos Community Church. Kevin Austin, founder and executive director of the Set Free Movement, is the featured guest.

The weekend kicks off Friday, Sept. 15, with a 7 pm screening of the critically acclaimed documentary "I Am Jane Doe," Saturday, at 5 pm, dinner by D’LaColmena will be served followed by award-winning recording artist Richard Andrew in concert. The weekend will culminate Sunday at 10 am with Kevin Austin as featured speaker at Corralitos Community Church.
