Greenhouse Fire Near Watsonville Destroys 2 Mobile Homes: Cal Fire
Five people were displaced early Tuesday morning after a greenhouse fire spread to two mobile homes, Cal Fire reported.
WATSONVILLE, CA — A greenhouse fire outside Watsonville destroyed two mobile homes and displaced five people early Tuesday morning, Cal Fire Santa Cruz reported.
At around 3 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a fire off of San Andreas Road in unincorporated Santa Cruz County. The fire extended into a greenhouse, but was quickly contained. Firefighters were unable to stop the spread to two single-wide mobile trailers, where five people lived.
The American Red Cross was called to assist them, Cal Fire said.
