Hit-and-Run Toyota Camry Driver Sought In Watsonville Crash
A 49-year-old pedestrian was left with critical injuries on Main Street, police said.

WATSONVILLE, CA – A 49-year-old man suffered critical injuries when he was struck in a hit-and-run collision in Watsonville early this morning, police said.
The victim was struck in the 900 block of Main Street around 5:15 a.m., police said.
He was transported to a trauma center with severe injuries. Police said the pedestrian appeared to be crossing the street without using a crosswalk.

According to witnesses and evidence on the scene, police are looking for a 2007-2009 red or maroon Toyota Camry with right front-end damage, police said. A description of the driver wasn't available.

Drivers this morning are asked to avoid the are of northbound Main Street between Auto Center Drive and Rodriguez Street in Watsonville.
The Watsonville Police Department reported an injury collision occurred and an investigation is underway.
