International Migratory Bird Day
City's Nature Center will celebrate "International Migratory Bird Day" on Saturday, May 14th with morning walks other fun activities
International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) celebrates and brings attention to bird migration, one of the most important and spectacular events in the Americas. IMBD began in 1993 and is now hosted at more than 600 sites from Canada to Argentina. Environment for the Americas, with the collaboration of international sponsors and partners, fosters bird conservation education in the Western Hemisphere through International Migratory Bird Day.
The City of Watsonville's Nature Center is celebrating International Migratory Bird Day by providing bird walks and fun and games for the entire family.

Bird Walk
8:00-10:00 a.m.
Bird walk around the East Struve Slough Trail head at the back of the West Marine Parking Lot, 500 Westridge Dr. Bring binoculars and water.

10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Bird walk starting from the Fitz Wetlands Education Resource Center, upper back of the Pajaro Valley High School. 500 Harkins Slough Rd. Bring binoculars and water.
Family Fun and Games
1:00-4:00 p.m.
Fun and games for the entire family at the Watsonville Nature Center, 30 Harkins Slough Rd. Come make bird masks, play some bird theme games, and experience what a bird’s migration journey is like!
