Mañana Lane Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project

Work will begin on on Monday, November 28th in the Auto Center Row area.

The City of Watsonville, with its contractor, Bay Pacific Pipelines, Inc. will be replacing a trunk sewer line over the next several months. The existing sewer is too small for current sewer flows and has reached the end of its service life. The new pipe will be larger and made of a stronger, more durable material to ensure that no over-flows occur in the future.

  • Project will begin on Monday, November 28th
  • Construction will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Work will take place on Auto Center Drive by car dealerships
  • Work will take approximately 3 to 4 days
  • Traffic on auto Center Drive will be reduced to one lane with traffic control and flaggers in place
  • Sewer services will NOT be disrupted during this work
