Watsonville Pharmacy Robbery Leads To Arrest
The man jumped over the counter of a Freedom Boulevard counter and filled a bag with controlled substances, police said.
WATSONVILLE, CA β A man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Watsonville pharmacy Saturday morning.
Elben Ramos, 26, is accused of hopping the counter of a Freedom Boulevard pharmacy and filling a bag with controlled substances, police said. He is facing robbery charges.
A pharmacy employee took down his license plate number and noted his Pink Panther sweatshirt as he left the property. Watsonville detectives issued an alert with the information and he was found a short while later in Oakland, police said.

A resident called to report a suspicious car and police arrived to find Ramos in a Pink Panther sweatshirt with a pharmacy-sized container of drugs inside his car, police said.
He was taken back to Santa Cruz County and booked into jail.
