Man Arrested At Watsonville Motel On Burglary, Auto Theft Charges
BREAKING: The resident of Watsonville also allegedly was in possession of a stolen firearm, police said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A man was arrested at a motel in Watsonville Tuesday night on suspicion of burglary, auto theft and possession of an illegal firearm, ammunition and stolen property, police said.
At around 8:20 p.m., police knocked on Justin Harrah's Motel 6 room door, at 125 Silver Leaf Drive.
Harrah, a 46-year-old Watsonville resident, had an arrest warrant on suspicion of burglary and auto theft out of Santa Clara County, police said.

When officers got inside Harrah's motel room, he surrendered and admitted that he had a gun in the room.
The officers saw the gun in plain view on the nightstand. Harrah is prohibited from possessing a gun due to a court order, police said.

Police seized the loaded gun and found that it had been reported stolen to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office last year.
Officers also found ammunition in the motel room, police said.
Harrah was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
