WATSONVILLE, CA — The Watsonville Police Department said it has arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography. Detectives were led to Tranquilino Gervacio after the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force notified police that a video had been posted of a young girl being sexually assaulted by a man, police said. It's unclear who took the video but Gervacio admitted to possessing it and sharing it online, police said. Gervacio was arrested a week later. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Nelson Hernandez at 831-768-3358.
