More City League Champs Crowned

Blackout Tinting won the fall 2011 “C” league Championship for Watsonville men's city leauge basketball Tuesday.

Blackout Tinting went into the tournement as the No. 2 seed. The team beat  No. 3 Brew Crew 56-46 in the semifinals, then topped TeamXceed 56-43 in the finals.

TeamXceed, the top seed going into the tourney, bested Ruckus 64-55 to advance to the finals.

On Nov. 2, the Horsemen won the D-5/D-4 Softball Playoff.

In game 1, the second-ranked Horsemen pummelled the No. 3 Trembers 19-3. Then the Horseman knocked in a whopping 34 runs, destroying the top-rated Terror Squad's meager 13 scores.

Terror Squad eeked past Slappin Pitches 13-12 in the semis.
