Student Center is starting the Pathways N.O.W. program to address the youth employment needs in Watsonville. There will be an information night on Wednesday July 27th from 6:30-8:30PM at Youth N.O.W.’s High School site located at 31 Carr Street Watsonville, CA 95076.
The Pathways NOW Program is designed to give youth an opportunity to have a long-term, one-on-one mentoring relationship with an allied adult. These relationships provide mentees with support, guidance, and a sense of belonging to a community of caring individuals.
Youth need additional support when entering into the job market. This may include skill building, such as vocational training, resume building and interview workgroups, teaching youth people how to identify opportunities, align interests with market needs, and acquire skills that will let them succeed in sustainable careers.
