Person Ejected In Suspected DUI Crash, CHP Says
The passenger suffered serious injuries, the Santa Cruz branch of the California Highway Patrol said.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Monday afternoon after a crash that resulted in serious injuries to her passenger, the California Highway Patrol Santa Cruz branch said.
The crash occurred shortly afternoon when the driver's pickup truck rolled off of Trabing Road near Freedom and onto Highway 1, CHP said. The passenger was ejected from the car during the crash.
