Police Investigate Stabbing In Watsonville
The victim told officers he was stabbed by unknown assailants as he was walking last night.

Police are investigating a Friday stabbing in Watsonville.
Officers responded at 8:50 p.m. to the area of Union and Grant streets to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon and located a 26-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound to his leg. The victim told police he was walking on the sidewalk when several unknown suspects attacked him.
One of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said. The injury was not considered life threatening.
