'Rad Academy' Seeks To Help Teachers Get Creative, Pay Rent

Brogan Dahl wants to create an extra-curriculars academy to pay teachers well and give them a creative outlet, The Pajaronian reported.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Aptos High School teacher Brogan Dahl is seeking donations to kickstart the Rad Academy, which she envisions as a creative outlet for teachers that can help them make ends meet on modest salaries, The Pajaronian reported.

She dreams of the academy as an extra-curricular program where teachers can make $60 per hour and aren't held back by standardized curriculum, the paper reported.

"We hire credentialed teachers, at fair wages, to help them with the demanding costs of living in the Bay Area," she wrote on her GoFundMe page.
