World Harmony Chorus Launches In Santa Cruz
All are welcome, and no singing background needed! Practices are on Wednesdays on Center Street.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A new branch of the World Harmony Chorus branch has launched in Santa Cruz with a repertoire of music from around the world and open to anyone interested in joining.
"Everyone is welcome, there are no auditions and no singing experience is necessary<" said organizers "Experienced singers are also welcome, and there are solo opportunities for those who would like them."
All parts are taught by ear, and musical transcriptions are provided. All ages are welcome, though children under 9 might find it a bit daunting.

The chorus will perform several times throughout the year, principally in January and in the spring.
There is a fee for participation, with work study and scholarships available. No one turned away for lack of funds: you are welcome to come for free until deciding to commit for the session.

The Santa Cruz chorus rehearses on Wednesdays, 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at Louden Nelson Community Center, Room 4, 301 Center St., Santa Cruz. Email Daniel@InstantHarmony.com with any questions.
Daniel Steinberg founded the World Harmony Chorus in 1999, with groups in both Mountain View and the East Bay, and he continues to arrange music for all branches. There are currently more than 100 chorus members in Mountain View and Oakland.
