Santa Cruz Co. Deputy Returns $1,800 Bike To Owner
The bicycle, which was found during a probation search at Inn at Pasatiempo, was stolen from Soquel High on Monday.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A man was arrested following a probation search at the Inn at Pasatiempo this week. Deputies said Kyle Franks was found to be in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia, graffiti tools, a notebook with the moniker “Lerk” written on the cover, burglary tools and a bike believed to be stolen from Soquel High on Monday. Franks was arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
The next day, deputies found the owner of the bicycle, which was valued at about $1,800, and returned it to him.
