The final program in the series, Meaning & Productivity, takes place 3 – 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. Learn how faith traditions offer insight into finding meaning beyond one’s productivity in light of today’s unemployment crisis. Register at bit.ly/SCPL-Faith4.

According to Watsonville Public Library Director Carol Heitzig, “Making sense and meaning out of challenging times is something we all need help with, and we’re glad to bring the whole county together in a way that fosters community and shared understanding.” SCPL Director of Libraries Susan Nemitz echoed that sentiment, adding “Our Libraries are here for you, and we are taking the need for real connection at this time very seriously.”

Our county’s libraries truly believe that bringing people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives together brings out the best outcomes for all of us. We invite you to join us as we all try to make sense of the pandemic and its repercussions, and perhaps generate a sense of hope and community in the process.
