School Bus Carrying Football Team Struck By Projectiles On Highway 101
The Carmel High football team bus was hit near Prunedale, while on its way to a San Jose game.
SAN JOSE (KPIX) — One of two school buses carrying a Carmel high school football team to a Friday night playoff game in San Jose was hit by some kind of projectile at about on northbound Highway 101 near Prunedale in Monterey County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Another vehicle, a Mercedes, also had its windows shattered a few minutes earlier.
