Seaside Child Molestation: Man Convicted Of Sex Act On Child Under 10
The man faces 45 years to life in prison when he is sentenced.
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — A Monterey County man was found guilty Thursday of committing sex acts on a child, the District Attorney's office announced on Monday.
A jury found Keo Van Do, 62, of Marina, guilty of committing sex acts on a young child under age 10, including the use of force, prosecutors said. The jury also found Do guilty of committing a lewd act upon a second victim, another child under 10.
Police in Seaside responded to a residence on Sept. 30, 2020, where a distraught family reported that Do had been caught in the act of touching a young child under 10 in front of a second child, also under 10. The second child told police that he had been touched earlier that day as well, police said.
