Shooting May Have Been Gang-Related, Police Say

The victim, 29, was sitting in a parked car with a four-year-old. The child was uninjured.

WATSONVILLE, CA β€” Police said they believe gang activity may be at play in a shooting reported Tuesday evening in the 200 block of Sudden Street.

A man, 29, was shot in the arm while sitting in a parked car with a child, 4. The child was not injured and the man's injuries were not life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital, according to the Watsonville Police Department.

The shooter was last seen running east on California Street and police believe he was wearing a mask.
