Watsonville Fire Sends 1 To The Hospital

WATSONVILLE - A burn victim was transported from the scene of a structure fire near Watsonville, according to firefighters.

Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters stated via Twitter that personnel from Cal Fire and the Pajaro Valley Fire Protection District were responding to a structure fire in the 300 block of Manfre Road.

Firefighters quickly determined that the building was fully involved in the fire and requested additional personnel.

Around 10:35 p.m. they said that one victim was awaiting transport by helicopter to a burn center.

Further details were not immediately available.
