Watsonville Man Facing Child Sex Abuse Charge

WATSONVILLE, CA — A Watsonville man is accused of sexually abusing a child younger than 14 years of age, according to police and jail records.

Francisco Guzman-Marin, 66, was arrested Friday at his home in the 400 block of East Beach Street, the Watsonville Police Department said. Police said they received a report of child sex abuse less than a day prior to his arrest.

Guzman-Marin faces a felony charge of lewd and lascivious contact with a child younger than 14 years old, jail records show.

He remains in Santa Cruz County jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.
