SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The victim of a fatal motorcycle crash on southbound Highway 1 Friday night has been identified by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff-Coroner's Office.Steven Lovett, 31, of Watsonville was identified by sheriff's Sgt. Brian Cleveland. The wreck, which was reported shortly before 8 p.m. near Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz, shut down traffic lanes. There were no immediate reports of additional injuries.The cause of the crash is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
