Watsonville Police Arrest 2 On Suspicion Of Child Sex Crimes
Within eight hours of each other, two arrests were made in unrelated cases related to child sex abuse, police said.

WATSONVILLE, CA β Two men were arrested on suspicion of child sex abuse in unrelated cases in Watsonville.
Javier Solis, 28, was arrested by Watsonville police early Friday on suspicion of five felonies charges related to sex crimes involving a minor, including a charge involving a child three years old or younger, jail records show. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail and his bail was set at $50,000.

Hours earlier Fermin Vega, 70, was arrested on suspicion of continuous sexual abuse of a child, lewd and lascivious acts with a child younger than 14 years and lewd lascivious acts with a child younger than 14 years, the Watsonville Police Department said in a statement. Three victims reported continuous abuse at his hands, police said.
