WATSONVILLE - A schoolteacher from Watsonville was arrested Tuesday in connection with a child pornography investigation.

During the investigation, detectives seized a number of images depicting prepubescent children involved in sexual acts, investigators said.
Law enforcement officials immediately notified school authorities of Krietzman's alleged actions and arrest. Investigators said Krietzman was identified as a source of child pornography files shared on a peer-to-peer network.
At this time, it does not appear the child pornography images are related to the school, but detectives are reviewing personal and school work computers Krietzman had access to, according to investigators.
Investigators said Alisal School District officials are being fully cooperative with the investigation, and school representatives took immediate action to remove Krietzman from the classroom.
