Science Workshop Staff and students Learning to Sew

On saturday, September 3rd, the Science Workshop held their bi-monthly teen training session. The training workshop for the month was on sewing. Three local sewing mavens were invited to the training to provide instruction and inspiration. They were Gladys Perkins, Pam Harris, and Rachel Clark.

At the end of the two hour training, staff, students, and siblings were creating projects such as re-useable bags from donated clothing. The training was held to help staff and students acquire sewing skills to create items for the Fashion Show being held on October 13th.
