Watsonville Teacher Brings Sparkle To Hearing-Impaired Kids
Dolls with glittery hearing aids and cochlear implants can be found in Genesis Politron's classroom.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A teacher at Landmark Elementary School in Watsonville is getting a lot of attention for her dolls.
Genesis Politron teaches preschool and kindergarten. When shopping for classroom toys recently, she could not find any dolls that represented her with students with hearing devices.
So she made some on her own — dolls with glittery hearing aids and cochlear implants.

I teach preschool and kindergarten for Deaf/Hard of Hearing kids, and my students never see toys that resemble their hearing devices (Hearing Aids/Cochlear Implants), so I added some to our new baby dolls on my own. I wish everyone could see their faces playing with these pic.twitter.com/HQ5otlrtdz
