Watsonville's 'Summer In The City' Internship Applications Open
Incoming juniors and seniors in Watsonville will take courses on government, complete an internship, receive $1000, and more.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Incoming juniors and seniors enrolled at Watsonville High School, Pajaro Valley High School, or Aptos High School are eligible for the Summer in the City paid internship program. The internship program has returned after a two-year hiatus.
The internship, which pays $1000, is open to up to 30 students interested in leadership and civic matters. For five days a week for five weeks in the summer, interns will attend class in the mornings at Watsonville City High School, and then complete a department internship at either the City of Watsonville or the Pajaro Valley Unified School District in the afternoons. They will also take career readiness courses at Watsonville Cabrillo College, attend pertinent field trips, and gain 2.5 elective credits.
