What To Expect at the City Council Meeting
Strawberry Festival revenue and expenses will be reviewed.

The staff report on the city's is the big item at Tuesday's Watsonville City Council meeting.
The popular summer event brings tens of thousands of people to downtown Watsonville. The report typically is a recap of the festivities, but this year's could be more controversial.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers, on the fourth floor at 275 Main St.
In its earlier session, the city council is going on a field trip to the Pajaro River levee. Council members will be visiting the railroad trestle/Walker Road area, Atri Park on the Salsipuedes levee at Hushbeck Avenue and Atri Court, then finishing with a stop one mile downstream on the Salsipuedes levee, east of East Lake Avenue near College Road. That meeting starts at 3:30 p.m.
