$50,000 Reward Offered for Hit and Run Driver

Authorities are offering $50,000 for help finding a hit and run driver who killed a 24-year-old man this month.

A reward of up to $50,000 was offered today for information that helps solve the hit-and-run death of a man in Hollywood.

Robert Ryan, 24, was fatally injured on Dec. 6 about 3:30 a.m. at Ivar Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. The motorist kept going, and police have no suspect or vehicle description.

The reward was offered by the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and “conviction or resolution through a civil compromise,” police said.
